Praise is beautiful

A garment can tell a story. It can reflect what is going on within a person; joy or distress, it can tell you what occasion it is, if it is cold or hot, where you are currently located; deep sea diving or mountain climbing or a special event.

Sometimes one needs a seamstress to properly fit a garment before one can wear it.

Psalm 147 The Amplified Bible

1 For it is good to sing praises to our [gracious and majestic God]; Praise is becoming and appropriate.

Psalm 147 The Message Bible

1 It’s a good thing to sing praise to our God; praise is beautiful, praise is fitting.

Like a physical garment praising God can be like a properly fitted spiritual attire.

Your see God dwells in the praises of His people. God inhabits your praise.

When you cultivate a continuous attitude of praise and gratitude of God’s goodness it is like you are clothing yourself with God, His presence and His power.

Praising God is becoming; lovely, stylish, handsome or pretty/beautiful.

Praising God is appropriate, it is fitting. One can say, “Praise looks good on you.”

Praises start with a grateful heart, with joyful thoughts about the goodness of God.

There is always something you can think about and thank God for.

There is something no matter how small and insignificant it might seem, that you can find in your life right now, not in the future but right now, where you are seated or standing and reading this, that you can praise God for and say; “Thank you Lord.”

No one likes to hang out with a grouchy, complaining, sour-faced person. Not even God!

No matter what’s going on around you. Invite God into your life.

Give praises, give thanks, rejoice and God will help you turn it around.

In case you do not have a relationship with the creator of the heavens and the earth.

Say this prayer: Dear God, I acknowledge I am a sinner. I believe Jesus carried away my sins on the cross of Calvary. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you Lord for saving me.

Begin to praise The Lord and find a church around you to attend.
